It’s no secret that we love candles here at The Lazy Pit Bull. At any given time, there’s at least one delightfully scented candle burning in our office, bedroom, or kitchen.
But did you know that many candles release smokey toxins into the air as they burn? Yuck. Obviously this can’t be healthy for you or your pet, and that’s why the folks at One Fur All created their Pet House Candles.

Recently One Fur All sent us their Mandarin Sage candle, and we have to admit that we loved it. Not only did it burn for a very long time (over 70 total hours!), but look at the other great things about it:
- Made with an odor neutralizer
- Infused with a blend of essential oils
- 100% natural soy wax
- Hand-poured and dye-free wax
- Contains no paraffin/petroleum by-products
- Made in the USA and comes in a reusable jar
The Mandarin Sage is an earthy scent that’s a little more manly than the usual floral scents I like to burn around here, and that made even my husband love it!

But if Mandarin Sage isn’t your style, rest assured that One Fur All has many other scents to choose from, like pumpkin spice (always a favorite!), lavender green tea, and fresh citrus. You can see them all by clicking here.
In addition to ordering directly from the One Fur All website, you can use the store locator to find a location near you, and you can also order from Amazon.com (affiliate link).
At $19.95 each, your first thought might be that the price is a little high but I can assure you, these candles burn longer than many candles I’ve used and they fill your home with a warm, fresh aroma that is not only pleasant to you, but also safe for your family and pets. That’s a total win-win, if you ask me!
In fact, I like these candles so much that I want to give TLPB readers a chance to try them, too! That’s why I’m partnering with One Fur All to give away a Mandarin Sage candle, and I’m going to make it super simple to get entered: just leave a comment below telling me where you like to burn candles in your home.

I love to burn the on my sitting room where we all spend the most time. Gus is with us too..
I LOVE candles, especially during fall & wintertime, but I also enjoy the relaxing smell of a candle throughout the rest of the year. That being said, I actually came across the Pet House Candles a few weeks ago & ordered the Lavender Green Tea Candle. It smells great and I love knowing that it’s made with 100% natural soy wax! I’ll definitely be ordering more 🙂
I love to burn candles in my living room, kitchen, bathroom, back deck and bedroom. However, I never leave a candle unattended.
I love burning candles in my living room, so the scent will drift throughout my home.
I like to burn candles in every room in my house, but do it mostly in the kitchen since I can put them on the stove, which is safer in case one would ever splatter or “pop”. I’m a sucker for candles and love spending time smelling each scent when I’m at the store.
We usually burn candles in the living room or occasionally in the bedroom.
Citrus is one of my favorite scents – I would love to try this!
I adore candles and burn them daily in my home, in the living room, kitchen, guest bath, the pet room, my bedroom and my bathroom. I also burn candles outside in my garden antonym porch. With 9 rescued pets, including my rescued Pit Bull turned Service Dog, they help to keep my house smelling fresh, clean and according to the scent I’m using, seasonal.
I look forward to looking at the candle site.
Thanks for considering me as a possible winner of the mandarin sage candle.

I like to burn most of my candles in the kitchen and in the bathroom (while taking a bath).
Our house is kind of an open floor plan so the kitchen and livingroom where the dogs spend the most time are kind of in the “same room”. That’s the best place four our candle and that way I can take care of two smelly rooms at once 🙂
I love burning candles in the kitchen and bathrooms. Even better is knowing the candle is pet safe for our dogs. I need to try out these Pet House Candles. I want the Vanilla Creme Brulee.
I burn candles in the living room (where we spend most of our time) and in the bathroom (where the catbox is.)
Would love to win some nice smelly candles for our lil house 🙂 Lavender Green Tea sounds wonderful hmmmmmmmm
They sound delicious, Christina! And, love that they don’t release nasty stuff into the air. When I burn candles, I’ll burn them in my office or in our living room. I have to watch our Jasper carefully, though. He’s a lunatic teenager and I wouldn’t put it past him to try to jump up on the counter to check out where the pretty smell was coming from.
I burn candles in the bedroom, kitchen and living room.
Mom loves to burn candles in the kitchen and living room where we hang out the most. She says they help things smell better. Wait, is she saying we don’t smell so great sometimes?

i have 3 designated spots i usually burn candles! one is on our kitchen table between the salt and pepper shakers. i don’t always cook big meals but i think burning a candle while we eat makes whatever the meal is feel more special (to me anyways). The other two spots are our living room and bathroom (aka the places we spend the most time!) These candles sound awesome and i’d be so excited to try one out 🙂
I like to burn candles in my office. I have a shelf that the animals can’t reach.
