If you’ve never been to Key West, let me tell you, it’s seriously heaven on earth. Oh, and there’s a dog-friendly bar right there at the beach. Score!

We will be anchoring near Topsail Beach in less than a week. And Jekyll Island is lovely.
But our favorite dog beaches are those that can only be reached by boat. Capers Island Nature Preserve just north of Charleston is fabulous during the week. We’ve had it all to ourselves.
Have a great time! I’m so jealous!
Capers Island sounds amazing! How awesome to have it all to yourselves! Sounds like heaven on earth! 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing these! Dog friendly beaches are hard to come by. I didn’t know there were any in Jersey, I’ll have to check this one out!
Love & biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Let me know how it goes, Cathy! I’d love to see pics!
Amelia island, Fla. has the best beach for dogs. The town is extremely pet friendly and May 1 is the shrimp fest…yummy! We shopped and ate at the local bistros with 2 dogs in tow and everybody behaved.
We LOVE the Outer Banks in North Carolina!! All of towns (there are many) are dog friendly! Some do have restrictions, just check the town’s website where you’ll be visiting. Everything about the OBX is dog friendly!! Many stores allow dogs, along with many restaurants on their outside patios/decks! You can’t go wrong. Also, it is just SO beautiful there!!
the best dog beach i’ve ever been to is Juno Beach in Jupiter, FL…hands down. 2.5 miles of off-leash beach for dogs. beautiful, blue water. free and easy parking. showers at each beach access
