A few weeks ago, the very nice people at Petsafe were kind enough to ask us to try a couple of their fountains for pets. Of course, we were happy to oblige and we received the two fountains in the photo above: the outdoor dog fountain and the Stoneware Pagoda Fountain
. To say that we love them would be an understatement!
I’ve mentioned before that pets need one ounce of water for every pound of body weight, and it’s even more important for them to stay hydrated during the hot summer months. That’s why we really love having the outdoor fountain on our deck, because it’s so easy for Nike to get a nice, cool drink whenever she needs it.

The Pagoda fountain is adorable. It’s made of a high quality stoneware that is top-shelf dishwasher safe, making it so easy to clean. It’s a little on the small size, so I feel it’s a better fit for cats or small dogs than for a dog of Nike’s size, but no worries: our psychotic cat, Snickers, loves the Pagoda and has claimed it for himself. Ever since I put the fountain in the basement near his food, Snickers seems to be drinking a lot more water than ever before, and that makes a cat mom worry just a little bit less.
In fact, we love the Pagoda so much, we want to give our friends a chance to win one of their very own! That’s right: one lucky TLPB reader will take home an awesome Pagoda fountain, valued at approximately $79.95, and we’re going to make it so easy to enter to win!

I have one dog and I’d love for him to have this available because he enjoys spending time outdoors. The fountain would provide fresh drinking water constantly!
We have 4 dogs. The Pagoda fountain would help so much! I wouldn’t have to constantly rinse out the water bowl for my picky male Doberman.
We have 1 dog and a parrot. Our dog would love it because he is always playing and could use it outside.
We currently have four Treeing Walker Coonhounds and three cats (all rescues) and they tend to share water bowls. Unfortunately, a couple of the dogs tend to get slobber in the water and I don’t want the cats to have to deal with that. This I could set up on a table the cats (and not the dogs) can get to.
OH my my 2 cats would love this. I would love this so they could have fresh water continuously.
I have 2 pets – a dog and a cat. One is a fussy drinker and the other tends to have urinary tract issues, so I am constantly checking on their water intake. Anything to make it easier would be great!
Try putting a TBSP of All Natural Apple Cider Vinegar (the kind with the’mother’ in the bottle in your pets water. Slowly work up to it.
We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. It would be great to have this fountain to keep their water fresh and constant. our newest little kitten cant get enough water she drinks out of our big bowl of water meant for the 65 pounder we have, she could swim in it if she wanted..lol..
I have one amazing dog (plott/pit mix) and I take care of about seven feral cats. While i know my dog would enjoy this water fountain, I think the fountain would work best on the front porch to provide fresh water for the feral cats. It’s hot outside so the current water bowl can dry up while I’m at work. By the way, the ferals are all spayed and neutered, thanks to help from a local rescue organization! 🙂
I have 4 dogs. Abby Girl is a German Shepherd who is 2 1/2 years old, Jax is a American Pit Bull Terrier who is 1 1/2 years old, Pinkie is a Weimaraner who is 8 years old & last but not least is Cricket who is 9 years old & he is part Chihuahua, Dioxin & Pekingese. All of my Fur Babies have beeh rescued from a kill shelter. They would love to have a new water fountain so they could all drink together all at one time instead of having to wait their turn (which isn’t such a bad thing since it teaches them patience.) I would love to see the look on their faces when they all were able to drink together.
I have one pit bull and she loves to run and play all day so she is constantly drinking something like this would be great for her since I am continuously filling her water dish.
I have a German Shepard / Husky mix that would love this. It is hot & dry in CO, so he drinks a lot!
I love this idea. I’m always cleaning out the cats’ water bowls because the water gets slimy from not moving.
I have 3 cats. The currently drink mostly from the sink although I do have bowls down for them. This would be great for them to always have a running supply of water.
2 pets a dog and a cat and I constantly have to turn the tub water on for my cat to drink from.
We have two dogs. I want to win so they will have fresh, flowing water all of the time.
I have 8 rescue dogs, from tiny Chihuahuas to 100 pounders and we’re in boiling hot SW Florida where even 5 minutes outside in the summer is like torture. Keeping all the water bowls constantly filled is a never-ending chore; the fountain would be such a great alternative. Bonus: it’s a lot more attractive than water bowls!
What cool (pun intended) water fountains! We would love them!
We have four pets! Two dogs, Bo and Willow and two hedgehogs – Penelope and Gidget! We’d love to win, for our two fur- kids, Bo and Willow!
I have 6 small dogs and I am always changing the water bowl. I would love this fountain so they always have fresh flowing water that stays clean.
I have a tweenie Doxie but my parent’s cat REALLY needs the indoor fountain. She just LOVES to drink from running water. This would be perfect for her!
I have 9 rescues, Takoda, Pit Bull SD, Kamali, Yellow Lab, Lallo, Cairn Terrier Mix, ChiChi, Foster Failure Chihuahua. Kanny, Russian Blue, Catori and Raven, Ragdoll Wannabes, Tehya, Blue Point Siamese and Cancer Survivor and last but not least, Graham Cracker S’More, who no one wanted because he has not contagious herpes which makes his beautiful eyes run and his sneezes turn into flying boogies! LOL!
Then there are the occasional ‘on the road fosters’ who truckers transport, need to drop, off for a few days to 2 weeks sometimes until the next trucker picks them up for their next leg to their FUREVER home.
I do have a few stainless steel bowls scatter around the house for my furkidz, but a fountain bowl would be sheer heaven for them and me.
Thank you so much for giving everyone this opportunity and for considering my family of Beasties and I.
Human Hugs, Dog Smoochies and Kitty Purrs,
Shawn and the 9 Beasties
We have 3 pets here — a cat, a dog, and a bearded dragon. If I won the fountain (my fingers are crossed) I think it would be for the cat, although I’m sure Jake, the dog, would help himself as well. Like your dog, Jake a larger dog. I love that outdoor fountain too! Thanks for the giveaway!
I have two dogs and they are getting old so they drink A LOT of water. It would be great to have the Pet Pagoda. Thanks!
I would love love love one of these fountains for my babies. I have two small Shih Tzu’s Lily and Lola. They would love this. Right now I have to put a small short glass on our coffee table filled with water and ice cubes every day. They think that is special. I have to put two pillows beside the couch so they can reach the glass. They think they are hot stuff. So I am sure they would love this. Thanks for the chance to win. I use your Pet Care Printables. They have come in very handy. Thanks for those. Have a great day.
Karolyn, I’m glad you use and enjoy the printables! 🙂
I have a dog and 2 cats – one of which is obsessed with the sink and drips! He would absolutely love this!
This looks like such a great product!
I have one dog who just recently had her 10th birthday (we aren’t certain, she was found in a dumpster as a pup)! She is my constant companion, my heart, my soul. I am at home most of the time, but never alone because she is with me everywhere I go. The fountain would be an awesome birthday gift for my girl, Katie, because she deserves the very best. Thank you!
Pawsome!!
There are three of us here, two kitties and a woofer, BOL!
Pagoda fountain would be a great addition to our drinking station, which right now is a ceramic bowl…and it gets stale in a hurry, Oh yes, it does…so a fountain with a filter and circulation would be evfur so great:))
I have one dog (1 yr old blue nose pit)and she has become my absolute best friend ever since rescusing her. She was dropped off by her former owners simply because they just didnt want her anymore 🙁 Ever since, I have wanted to be sure she has everything she could ever have to make her comfortable and happy!! I think this fountain will add to her happiness for sure!
I have two dogs, Patsy (11) and Lemmy (6ish) that are my life. However, running a non-profit to benefit local rescues means we get quite a few deliveries my dogs would love to have, but unfortunately are not for them. I would love for them to get excited about a delivery that is actually meant for them and they get to keep for themselves. They really deserve to have some cool toys too.
We have two cats and would love to have this fountain for them! They’re indoor/outdoor kitties and we would keep it outside our back door to provide them (and the neighborhood cats that are always around) with fresh water.
I have one puppy girl who is not a big drinker. hopefully this fountain would encourage her to drink more!
I have 5 dogs and 3 waterbowls. Having one of these would eliminate the need for so many bowls!! Thanks!
I have 4 pets! 2 dogs and 2 cats. My dogs would drink at this fountain until it was dry lol My cats could get a lot of use out of it though.
We have 3 pets (4 if you count the gerbil). Two small dogs and one cat. I would love to win this especially for the cat because I think it would encourage him to drink more water. I think the pups would get a lot of use out of it as well. I like that it keeps circulating the water so that it stays fresher, longer.
I have 2 dogs and a cat. We have multiple bowls of water set up around the house, but I would like a fountain as I think it would encourage my elderly cat to drink more.
Thank you for the opportunity
My kids love the pagoda fountain! It works well for all of them. You really can’t go wrong with these amazing PetSafe fountains – I am totally obsessed! But most importantly, I love how much more my babies drink water now 🙂
We have one dog and I’m hoping this might encourage him to drink more.
I have a dog and I love this idea of having water moving and being filtered a bit, really neat, I am sure Scrappy Dew would love this, Thanks for the chance to win with you!
I have one pit bull mix, and two cats. I think this fountain would be great for them, to help keep them hydrated, and make drinking fun and more enticing.
We have 6 dogs and at least as many cats. I’d like to win the fountain because the continually circulating water would make it stay fresh a little longer. Also, I’m sure at least a few of my dogs (my Schnauzer Oliver for sure) and cats would have a lot of fun with the moving water!!
The Pagoda Fountain looks both stylish AND practical! Love it! Our pups Missy & Buzz would love to get their paws on one to ensure they stay hydrated in this crazy summer heat! (Mommy would love hearing the soothing sound of the water…)
We only have one dog now, and a single bowl does just fine. But we’re planning to add a second dog, so more water stations and options might come in handy.
I have 3 dogs, I would love for them to have this fountain so they can get their daily water that’s needed to live long healthy lives.
We have two large, mixed breed rescue dogs. We are so blessed to share our home with Artie and Kouga. They are also the best of buddies.
4 cats and one guards so having more than 1 drinking station is critical!
SUCH AN AWESOME AND USEFUL IDEA, WOULD LOVE THIS, HAVE A GREAT WEEK.
Two dogs, Shiloh and Wager. Shiloh is a picky drinker and will only drink when he sees you pour new water in front of him. Wonder if he’d like this.
The outdoor dog fountain would be perfect for my mom’s dog! He spends time both in and outdoors so and I think the fountain would be great for outside.
I have 3 dogs and 1 cat – would love to have this for the backyard. Have a fenced area in the backyard and all the pets love to play outside — having a nice cool water fountain for them to drink from would be great.
We only have one dog now (just lost our 15 year old). We would love the Pagoda because our dog is a schnauzer and he dumps his beard in his watering bowl and slops water every where.
I have 3 dogs. I alway make sure that they have clean, fresh water, however, this would be a comfort to know that fresh water was always waiting when they need a drink
We love our fountain so much! The Big Dog one has been great for my parents’ dog and cats. I know some lucky pet family will love to have a fountain!!
I have one dog, Madam Layla, and I love the idea of the sound of water in my tiny studio which will give Layla loads of fresh running water which she loves – her favorite place in the dog park is the water fountain BOL
I have 3 cats. This foundation would make it easier to keep all my fur babies hydrated. I really love the design of it.
I have 4 dogs and 1 cat of my own, but I foster too – 1 more dog and 1 more cat at the moment. As you can imagine, I’m filling water bowls all day long! I know they’d love the fountain!
This is such a cool product. I am sure any pet would love to drink from this. Thanks for the giveaway too.
I have the three rescue bassets, 2 were cruelty cases. Who could be cruel to those fabulous ears? None of them want to drink stale water. So I have to replace the water multiple times a day for anyone to drink. This is a brilliant idea!
I have 2 dogs, a spoiled precious chihuahua named Edward, and a new puppy Lab named Buddy. This would be great for my poor little spoiled chihuahua who doesn’t run the house his way anymore with the new puppy.
I have 1 cat and I’d like to win to promote my cat to drink more.
I have a cat,Jack.and I would love to win this for him, He is obsessed with drinking out of the bathroom tap,so I think he would LOVE this. 🙂
I have two dogs: Romeo, my 5 year- old American Staffordshire Pitbull Terrier and the newest member of my little family, 8 month-old Husky-mix Jade. I rescued her spontaneously from a very neglectful situation in which she was severely malnourished and suffering from intestinal parasites. Now that Jade is on the road to recovery in a loving home, I would absolutely LOVE to have this amazing Pagoda fountain to help keep her and Romeo hydrated. They both drink a lot of water and I am constantly having to refill their bowls-having this flowing, tranquil, beautiful fountain would be a dream come true for ALL THREE OF US! THANK YOU!
I have two pets. I’d like to win because it pretty and has a filter.
I have one American Cocker Spaniel named Coco. I would love to win this for her because she always has to have a fresh bowl of water. She will only drink the water once. Every time she wants another drink it has to be new water. So this would be perfect for her!
I have four pets, three cats and a pitbull. One cat is constantly upending the water dishes, it’s a constant battle! My oldest cat recently had to have her front leg amputated and now prefers to drink from an elevated dish, so I have multiple needs to meet with one water dish. That multi-levelled fountain looks amazing!
We have entered every giveaway there’s been for a PetSafe fountain and haven’t won yet! Mom wants one so bad so hoping we do better with you but our chances are slim by the look of it! Love Dolly
With 15 cats an extra fountain would be great.
I have 3 dogs that would love to drink out of a Pagoda style fountain.
I have one dog and two cats. They need this fountain because the vet recommended it for urinary health
I have a 1 dog and a bearded dragon. I like the fact the Pagoda Fountain is dishwasher safe and provides clean fresh drinking water.
I have 2 pets – a cat and a dog and I would like to win a fountain like this since I think they would enjoy drinking from it, especially my cat who is not a big fan of the basic water dish.
I have 2 adorable cats who I would love to win this fountain for. One of my cats is not a big water drinker so this could help him.
This would be so great for my two older doggies (13 and 17! years old) and our cat. The dogs would love the fresh water and then then the cat might not be so inclined to go outside and drink out of the frog pond. 🙂
We have two cats and a dog and would love to have this fountain not only for their health but the entertainment of watching them figure it out the first day or so is worth everything 🙂 XOXOX
I have 1 pet, Marco, a pitbull pup. He’s my first pet so I’m trying to make sure I get the best/right things for him!
