If your dog wears a harness, I don’t have to tell you what a pain in the backside it can be to get that harness on your dog properly. Doesn’t it seem like some kind of crazy puzzle, and it’s even worse if your dog is less than cooperative.
That’s why I was so happy that Kurgo created a couple of awesome infographics to help educate and enlighten us about the proper way to put a harness on a dog. And whether you prefer an overhead or a step-in harness, I think you’ll find these to be really helpful.
This one’s for everybody who uses an overhead harness:
And this one is for those of you who like a step-in harness:
They make it look so easy, don’t they? But I promise, if you follow these simple steps you’ll now know how to put a harness on your dog.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Kurgo and the awesome products they offer, there’s no time like the present. Right now you can take 20 percent off all outdoor dog gear when you use code Kurgo20Win at check-out. And with Spring and warm weather (hopefully) just around the corner, we can’t wait to get outside and use our new Kurgo gear!
Now, you tell me: how good are you at putting your dog’s harness on?
Great infographics for any dog owner. I don’t know how often I see some dog owners wrestle with their dogs because they struggle to get the dog harness on. Just like the second graphic says, “comfort is key!”
I wish that we had this when I was working as a vet tech. We all got so confused by so many different harnesses and sometimes it would take a few of us a little bit of time to finally figure it out! Lol…
