I’ll admit, I’m a little bit obsessed with my iPhone. There’s just something incredibly awesome about the fact that it allows me to pretty much carry the entire world in my pocket.
And if you use an iPhone, or any Smartphone really, you know that there are apps for just about anything you can imagine, including your pets. There are apps to help you find local dog parks, groomers, and pet-friendly restaurants and hotels. There are even pet-centric social media apps, like Dog Land, which is one of my favorites.
I like this infographic because it features 13 cool apps that are great for pet lovers, and while I have not personally checked out all of them, I challenge you to take a look and find the ones that suit you and your pet.

Another one of my favorite iPhone apps for pet parents is the new one from the ASPCA. Released early this summer, this one helps manage your pet’s health records, provides tips for disaster preparedness, and lets you build a digital lost pet flyer that can be instantly shared on social media.
What are some of your favorite Smartphone apps for pet lovers? I’d love to hear more about them in a comment below!
This is a great list! I’m going to have to download a few of these and try them out. We’re heading on a road trip with the dogs this weekend, so having a handy app with dog friendly places would be great!
I use “Walk for a Dog” and “ResQwalk”…both are GPS based apps that donate to the shelter/rescue of your choice every so often. The more you walk the more they donate. Since I have three pibbles I walk A LOT 🙂
I like Red Cross Pet First Aid App
These sound like great apps to check out! I rely a lot on ‘Bring Fido’ when traveling and ‘Map My Walk’ when hiking.
