Last month, we lost our sweet Sadie Mae after 16 happy years with her. She was just 4 months old when she joined our family, and I am honored that she shared the rest of her life with us. She was truly a blessing.
What wasn’t necessarily a blessing in the last months of Sadie’s life were the messes. When you’re an old girl, stuff happens, and Mom quickly came to rely on a variety of cleaning supplies to help with the inevitable potty accidents. One of those products was Bounty.
We were Bounty fans here at The Lazy Pit Bull long before we were invited to join the Quicker Picker Upper Crew, but we appreciate these amazing paper towels even more now. Bounty makes it easy to “forgive them faster” when messes occur, as you’ll see in this cute video starring adorable Bentley. Take a look:
Little accidents are a simple of fact of life when you live with pets… or kids… or, come to think of it, even husbands, and I’ve learned that having Bounty on hand makes my job as a maid mom a lot easier. It’s also a lot healthier, in my opinion, than using a smelly old rag that could potentially be filled with germs. With Bounty, I simply clean up the mess using only a sheet or 2, and then toss it into the trash. Ta da, all better now!

Around our house, we’re currently using – and loving! – these new Bounty prints featuring the Minions! It’s one of the biggest movies of the summer, and these are such a fun and cute way to clean up household messes, no matter who makes them!

Regardless of whether you live with pets, kids, or husbands, I feel pretty confident you’ve got your share of messes to clean up, and Bounty makes it so easy to “forgive them faster” and get back to enjoying them!
Your turn: do you have a pet-mess clean-up tip to share? I’d love for you to share it in a comment because as pet parents, we all could use a few pointers when it comes to taking care of our furry kids and our homes!
The fine print: we are being compensated by Bounty to tell you about their products. However, The Lazy Pit Bull only promotes products that we love and believe are a great fit for our readers and friends. Bounty is not responsible for the content of this post.
I’m so sorry to hear about Sadie. 16 years is amazing.
Um……I had no idea that Bounty had Minions on them now! Those would be the cutest slobber wiper uppers ever!
Thank you, Jen. After 16 years, it’s been really hard getting used to not having her underfoot.
You must check out these Minions napkins and paper towels! We seriously love them, so so cute!
We used to use Bounty until they stopped making the cat design towels. Now we buy something cheaper. I would like to try the ones with Dawn though if they ever go on sale.
Bounty is the only brand of paper towels I buy. My girls both have IBD and I never know when they are going to have a flare up causing them to throw up. Sadly, they both had a flare up last week after I gave them new Nylabones in a flavor they hadn’t had before. They both got crazy sick requiring a trip to the ER vet. They are fine now. Thanks to Bounty, I could quickly clean up their vomit each time they got sick. My Bounty paper towels also came in handy yesterday when I stupidly shook my bottle of juice before drinking it thinking the lid was on it when it wasn’t the juice went flying all over my computer, desk and clothes.
Wow! 16 years sounds like a long and happy life. Glad she got to spend them with you.
We go through paper towels like water around here! I feel like I’m ALWAYS cleaning up something! Between the 2 cats, 2 dogs and Matt…oh boy.
It is so amazing that you had Sadie Mae since she was 4 months old! Wow! I can only dream of having a long relationship like that with one of my animals. I sure hope it happens. I’m still praying for you during this time, because I know the grieving process can be a long, difficult one.
Haha I love the title of this post. Paper towels and Nature’s Miracle seem to be used nonstop around here 😉 How lucky to have spent so many years with Sadie Mae <3
Those are adorable paper towels to be cleaning up with. I taught Mr. N to clean up his toys. Does that count as a cleaning tip?
