As a dog mom, I stay pretty busy. You know what it’s like. I’m always running one of my girls to and from the vet, grooming and training them, walking them, and let’s be honest, cleaning up after them. Ah, what a glamorous life, right?
But seriously, I love having pets in my life. They are truly a blessing, although with taking care of them (in addition to caring for the rest of my family), managing my home, and running my business, I’m not left with a whole lot of time for myself.
One thing I insist on, no matter how busy I am, is getting dressed and doing my hair and make-up every day, even on those days when I’m not planning to leave the house. I don’t know about you, but I just feel better about myself, and life in general, when I take a few extra minutes to make myself presentable to the world. A little eyeliner and some cute clothes can make all the difference!
When it comes to fashion, fall is my absolute favorite season. I just love breaking out the sweaters and boots, and there’s nothing like a denim jacket to keep you warm when there’s a chilly nip in the autumn air. Ah, fall fashion! It’s hard to beat!

Recently I decided to freshen up my wardrobe for the coming season, and my first stop was my new favorite clothing website, ThredUp. If you love amazing clothes at incredible prices, keep reading because, trust me, you don’t want to miss this if you’re looking for budget-friendly fall fashion.
What is ThredUp?
ThredUp is a resale website where you can buy and sell amazing secondhand clothing.
If the term “secondhand” conjures up images of dirty garage sales and mothball-smelling thrift stores, hold on for a second. ThredUp sells only items that are in excellent condition without stains, holes, pilling, or signs of wear.
These clothes are truly “like new”. All styles are on trend and in season, and they feature designer names at prices that are super reduced from typical retail. Ann Taylor, Gap, Coach, Kate Spade, and Banana Republic are just a handful of the brands you’ll find on ThredUp.
My First ThredUp Experience
A few years ago when I placed my first ThredUp order, it contained 13 items, including blouses, skirts, a dress, 2 purses, and a pair of shoes. Would you believe I got all that stuff for a mere $150? I can’t think of another online site where I can get so many high quality items at such a reasonable price! I mean, let’s be honest: a single designer handbag can cost more than $150!
When I received my items, they came neatly packaged and in like-new condition, fresh and clean, and ready to wear. I was really so pleased with everything I got, and I’ve placed many orders since then.
Did I mention that ThredUp also offers clothes for kids and maternity styles?
Clean Out Your Closet
Something else I love about ThredUp is that it’s also a great way to clean out your closet. If you have clothes, shoes, handbags, and other accessories that you no longer use, just send them to ThredUp. They’ll pay you for the items they keep to sell on their website, and they will responsibly dispose of the unaccepted items. Or, they can return them to you for a small fee. Either way, it’s so much easier than pulling everything together for a garage sale or lugging it all to a local consignment shop. Just pack it in a ThredUp Clean Out bag, drop it off at the post office, and you’re all set.
I’ll Give You $10 to Try It
I’d love to invite you to try ThredUp, because I’m so sure you’ll be just as obsessed as I am! When you use my link and click here to sign up for ThreadUp, you’ll get $10 to spend on your first order! And trust me, that $10 can go a very long way with the great prices you’ll find on ThredUp!
