Fall is an amazing time to rekindle your relationship with an old friend… and her dog!
We live in a busy world where it’s so easy to lose touch with even our closest girlfriends, and let’s be honest, getting together for dinner and a movie can be expensive and you can’t bring the dogs! Bummer!
In today’s blog post, I’m sharing 5 dog-friendly girlfriend dates that are fun, cheap, and perfect for this time of year.
5 Dog-Friendly Girlfriend Dates for Fall
1. Visit a Pumpkin Patch
A fall day at the pumpkin patch is fun for you, your friend, and your dogs! While you’re there, grab a cup of apple cider, pick out a pumpkin, and bring home a mum for your porch. It’s a great time to break out your favorite fall fashion!
2. Enjoy a Pumpkin Spice Latte
Have a coffee date at your local Starbuck’s. Sit outside on the patio and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather, and make sure the dogs get their very own “Puppuccino”!
3. Volunteer at Your Local Shelter
A great way to hang out with a dog-loving friend is to sign up to volunteer at your local animal shelter. You can’t take your own dogs, but you’ll get plenty of lovin’ from those at the shelter!
4. Take a Hike
Now that the weather is cooler, discovering a new hiking trail is a great way to spend time with a friend and your dogs. All dogs love to get outside and explore. Think your dog is too little to hike?My friend Jessica says otherwise.
5. Stay in For Dinner
Going out to dinner is great, but staying home with a friend and your dogs is even better. Whip up a simple meal together, curl up on the sofa in your comfiest clothes, and enjoy a fun evening at home catching up with your bestie. Netflix, anyone?
