When The Lazy Pit Bull was asked to become a Brand Ambassador for Bounty, we were all over it because we love Bounty and we use a lot of it. I mean, let’s be honest: with 2 dogs, a cat, two fish tanks, and 2 men in the household, I’m always cleaning up something around here.
And as much as I love and rely on Bounty paper towels every single day to clean up the wet trail from the water bowl and the occasional potty mess from a senior Doxie who shall remain nameless, not to mention the dozens of non-pet related messes that happen on the regular in every household, I never thought the day would come when I’d find something that I love even more.
But then they went and created new Bounty with Dawn and I have to tell you – I’m seriously hooked!

Bounty with Dawn is a specially designed 2 in 1 cleaning product that combines an ultra-durable Bounty paper towel with the cleaning power of Dawn, infused right into the towel.
I found so many uses for this product, and I was giddy with excitement with each one. I mean, come on. Anything that makes housekeeping and caring for family even easier, that’s a win-win, right?
But new Bounty with Dawn is even better than that. I also found it to be a healthy alternative to some of the other methods I was using to clean my home. Take the kitchen, for example. You know that dishcloth or sponge that’s by your sink right now? It can harbor so many nasty disease-causing germs after just one day’s use. Wipe your counter with this nasty rag, and you’re spreading those germs all over your kitchen.
But a wet sheet of Bounty with Dawn produces results that are 4 times cleaner than a used dishcloth, and it’s so easy to use. I simply grab a sheet and wet it with warm water, wipe down my countertops, and then toss the used paper towel into the recycling bin. My counters are clean, and I don’t have to hassle with a stinky, dirty dishrag. Also? Fewer dirty dishrags means less laundry! Yay!
A few pet-related chores that I use Bounty with Dawn for include wiping out the cat’s litter box before adding fresh litter, cleaning the inside of my dogs’ crates, and even wiping off muddy paws when we come inside from rainy day potty breaks. Of course, you should always rinse carefully but one of the things I love about Dawn is that it was created to be gentle on hands and in fact it’s so gentle, I’ve even known a veterinarian or two to recommend using it for cleaning up pets and pet messes. And as always, I strongly recommend if you have any question about what’s safe for your pets, please consult your own vet.
Around our house, we still love and regularly use the original Bounty paper towel, but we’re happy to add new Bounty with Dawn to our cleaning regime. If you’d tried it, we’d love to hear about your experience in a comment below!
The fine print: we received a free sample of new Bounty with Dawn in exchange for our unbiased, honest review. The Lazy Pit Bull only promotes products that we love and believe in, and Bounty is not responsible for the content of this review.
What a cool product idea! I didn’t know about this so thanks for sharing! I’ll definitely have to check it out. I’m assuming to get the cleaning power to work you have to wet the towel?
Yes, just wet the towel and it will get sudsy. I’ve been using them regularly to wipe down my kitchen countertops when I clean up after dinner, and I love them!
Bounty is now called plenty here in the UK, but even after the name change it’s still a brand we rely on! We wish the plenty here made it with added cleaning product included it would make cleaning out our Chinchilla’s bottom tray so much easier.
It’s just been released here in the states, Jessica. Maybe it will make its way to the UK soon!
Aw I think Nike looks cute in her picture! 🙂 I’ve found that these paper towels are super helpful for cleaning out my rats cage. And since I’ve just adopted a cat, they’ll probably be nice for cleaning out her litter box too.
Lol, I told you that she looks like a brute, Ann! I don’t know why, but she just looks gigantic in that pic! 🙂
We are so going to try this — two of mom’s favorite products combined! She would never have known about them until I read this so thanks! Love, Dolly
Pees: Since Dawn is used on fowl, seals etc after oil spills we’ve used it in the tub for Taffy after a walk when she comes in completely black underneath!
Dolly, you are right about Dawn being used to help clean up animals affected by oil spills! According to many vets and vet techs I spoke with, they recommend it for use with pets because it is made to be gentle. Consult your vet if you have any questions.
That picture is adorable! I love Bounty but never heard of the one with Dawn. Definitely checking it out!
We are Bounty lovers over here. I will have to check out this kind though!
I only use Bounty paper towels. Now I can’t wait to try these!! I can think of so many ways that they will come in handy!!
This is a great idea and I am definitely buying these!
This was such an interesting post! I’ve always wondered why people would clean with a paper towel instead of dish cloth or a sponge. Now I know!
Wow, this is an idea who’s time has come! I wish I had Bounty with Dawn this morning when I was cleaning up my cat’s hairball – yuck!
Can’t wait to try this product! Such a great idea! Yay! Bounty! Yay! Dawn!
Have to say I love the lazy pit bull angle. We use bounty exclusively.
The Quilted Quicker Picker Upper … Bounty!! with a Touch of Dawn. This is truly a life saving product.
We use Bounty paper towels in our house daily. With all the kids and dogs and cats, we go through a lot of paper towels!
Your dog is so cute! And Dawn and Bounty are two must have’s in our house no matter what!
I am so glad to see Dawn & Bounty come together to make such an innovative and useful product! I am going to have to try this!
I’m stuck on Bounty for sure. It’s the only brand of paper towels I will buy! Can’t wait to try this kind!
What a great idea – combining two quality brands into one product. I’ll have to look for those in the store – we’re always needing paper towels.
such a cute puppy! we use a lot of paper towels with our four legged kind!
Paper towels are one of the things where brand really matters.
Can someone explain how these are used? Wiped my countertop, worked great, but then do you rinse or wipe the soapsuds up with a regular bounty? I looked all over Web for video and nothing to be found not even on Bounty site, help please
I do not have a dog, but with my two cats, I always have to use Paper towels to clean up their messes.
