On Saturday afternoon, my family and I visited the Indianapolis Zoo for ZooBoo. It was a perfect day, as the weather cooperated and we were able to take in the sights and sounds (and smells!) of one of the most amazing zoos in the country.
My sister Cindy and niece Lindsey pose for a quick photo upon our arrival at the zoo. Today is Lindsey’s 12th birthday, by the way!
The flamingos were one of our first stops. Even in black and white, they’re still beautiful and elegant.
It was feeding time for the giraffes. They were much more interested in the zoo employee who was feeding them than in posing for me!
This big guy got up close and personal with me!
The elephants are my favorites! We were disappointed that we didn’t see babies Nyah and Kalina, though.
As we were leaving the zoo, we ran into these little twins. Thing 1 and Thing 2. Absolutely adorable!
Thank you to the Indianapolis Zoo and Indy Social Media Moms for the free tickets and the opportunity to attend ZooBoo and tell the world about the great experience we had!
Today I’m linking up with the wonderful Dachshund Nola and My Life In Blog Years for Black & White Sunday. If you’d like to join us, you can link up on either of their blogs! Have a great Sunday, and an even better week!
