One Saturday morning early this summer, my husband texted me this photo from our favorite local nursery. While looking at plants, he came across a nursery employee, sleeping on the job.
It’s that time of the week again – Black & White Sunday! I’m teaming up with Dachshund Nola and My Life In Blog Years to share the B&W love, although you’ll notice I left just a little bit of color in today’s photo.
Have a great Sunday, y’all, and a wonderful week.
Oh Oh hope they did not fire him/her 🙂 Happy Black n White SUNDAY. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
B&W with a splash of orange! Nicely done
You did a beautiful job keeping the color of the cat. I love it
Looks like a great spot for a nap.
cats do not have to work, they are superior 🙂
Handy perch, though I’m not sure if that holey surface is comfortable… 😛
This is just lovely. I love when I come across cats in stores and at nurseries. They’re so peaceful and seem to be just part of the decor. Our local pet store has a cat and it’s always amazing watching him walk around like none of us are there.
OMD mom says it looks almost like her Peaches (OTRB)! Love Dolly
You know what they say: it’s a “Safety Meeting”: Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt!
Yes, I love how you left the color on the cat! Doesn’t that look like a cozy place to nap, amongst the plants. I love when I go to businesses, and there’s a cat or dog hanging around (most of them do seem to be napping)!
Aw, can i get one of those for my garden?
What a great photo. Love how you highlighted the kitty. Great sleeping spot too. 🙂
Hey we have a cat like that 🙂 My house is on the same property as my family’s nursery and Honey D. is the nursery cat hehe
Well, Sunday’s a great day for not working to hard! Love the effect
Don’t cats have frequent naps written into their work contract?
I wonder what the cat’s name is? Pansy, Petunia, Rose maybe? Great photo!
Haha!! Love it when cats just get curled up in the most hidden spots. Adorable !!
That’s the kind of ‘work’ I like 🙂
Miss Marple X
ohhh…. she is going to get in trouble… unless she works the night shift!!!
