This month I’m going to cheat just a little bit on the Appreciate the Moments photo challenge. I’m going to share a photo that I didn’t actually take.
I didn’t take this photo because that’s me, the little baby girl in the middle. And these are my parents. Don’t you just love that they’re wearing matching shirts? Oh, my heart!
This month’s theme in the Appreciate the Moments Photo Challenge is Mother. Mother’s Day is next weekend, so I thought it would be great to honor our moms on our blogs this month. I’m especially grateful for my parents, who just celebrated 54 years of marriage on May 2nd. My mom is currently battling Alzheimer’s and my dad is her amazing caregiver. They are the picture of love and commitment, and what a wonderful example they’ve set for me and my brother and sister. Everyone should be so lucky to have parents like these.
Do you have a Mother photo that you want to share? Join us in the Appreciate the Moments blog hop! Just add your link below and share your photos with the world! This blog hop will remain open for one week only, so don’t wait!
If you’re sharing your photos on social media, please be sure to use hashtag #AppreciateTheMoments!
Just a couple of rules: first, if you’re linking up, please be sure to link DIRECTLY TO your #AppreciateTheMoments post – don’t link to your main website URL. And second, if you are not actually participating in photo challenge, please don’t link up a random post here. Your link will be removed. Thanks for understanding!
What a lovely photo! Happy May!
