Let me begin this week’s 52 Snapshots post with an apology to those of you who stopped by yesterday to link up your photos for the week. A little life glitch prevented me from getting my post ready, and honestly I didn’t even think anyone would notice that it was late. Thank you to everyone who did! 🙂
Family. They’re the people we kind of got stuck with in life, right? What’s that old saying, “You can pick your friends, but you can’t pick your family.” That’s so true, which is why I feel lucky that I got stuck with the family God gave me. They are my BLESSINGS, and I am truly oh so blessed to have them.
We took this photo almost a year ago when my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. I love it because it features the people who are the most important in my life: along with my parents, there is my husband and son, brother and sister, nieces, nephew, cousin, siblings-in-law, and even a soon-to-be cousin-in-law. These are the people I want beside me whether I’m celebrating a happy occasion like this one, or when times are tough.
52 Snapshots isn’t just for pet bloggers! It’s for anyone who loves to take photos, and everyone is invited to participate! Simply snap a photo based on the current week’s theme (shown in the image above), and then share your photo in a blog post, on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or wherever you like. I can’t even tell you how blessed I am to see what everyone comes up with for each week’s theme.
On Fridays (or in this case, Saturday) I share my photo for the week here in a blog post, and I give you a chance to link up with me and the other participants. All you have to do is simply add your link below and share your photos with the world! If you’re sharing your photos on social media, please be sure to use hashtag #52Snapshots so we can find you!
Just a couple of rules: first, if you’re linking up, please be sure to link DIRECTLY TO your #52Snapshots post – don’t link to your main website URL. And second, if you are not participating in the photo challenge, please don’t link up here. This blog hop is only for photos of this week’s theme, and unrelated links will be removed. Thanks for understanding!
